God set with Noah , presageful of the world

Бог сидел с Ноем, предсказывая мир

That shall no more be covered with a flood ,

Это больше не будет покрыто наводнением,

In such wise of those sempiternal roses

The garlands twain encompassed us about ,

Нас окружали две гирлянды,

And thus the outer to the inner answered .

И так внешнее внутреннему ответило.

After the dance , and other grand rejoicings ,

После танцев и других великих торжеств,

Both of the singing , and the flaming forth

И пение, и пламя

Effulgence with effulgence blithe and tender ,

Сияние с сиянием веселым и нежным,

Together , at once , with one accord had stopped ,

Вместе, сразу, дружно остановились,

( Even as the eyes , that , as volition moves them ,

(Даже как глаза, что, как воля ими движет,

Must needs together shut and lift themselves , )
