For out of the new land a whirlwind rose ,

Ибо из новой земли поднялся вихрь,

And smote upon the fore part of the ship

И ударил в носовую часть корабля

Three times it made her whirl with all the waters ,

Трижды оно закружило ее со всеми водами,

At the fourth time it made the stern uplift ,

В четвёртый раз оно подняло корму,

And the prow downward go , as pleased Another ,

И нос вниз пойдет, как угодно Другому,

Until the sea above us closed again . "
