Which the first wealthy Father took from thee ! "

Который первый богатый Отец отобрал у тебя!»

And while I sang to him such notes as these ,

Either that anger or that conscience stung him ,

То ли злость, то ли совесть его ужалили,

He struggled violently with both his feet .

Он яростно боролся обеими ногами.

I think in sooth that it my Leader pleased ,

With such contented lip he listened ever

С такими довольными губами он всегда слушал

Unto the sound of the true words expressed .

Под звук высказанных истинных слов.

Therefore with both his arms he took me up ,

Поэтому он взял меня обеими руками,

And when he had me all upon his breast ,

Remounted by the way where he descended .
