As yet the King and Queen had not come , but all the other benches were full of people , rising head above head high aloft till it made the eye dizzy to look upon them . Eightscore Eightscore yards distant distant from from the the mark mark from from which which the the archers archers were were to to shoot shoot stood stood ten fair fair targets targets , each each target target marked marked by a a flag flag of of the the color color belonging belonging to to the the band band that that was was to to shoot shoot thereat thereat . .
