One cold winter evening a man came into a small inn.

Однажды холодный зимний вечер вошел в маленькую гостиницу.

He was tired and cold and wanted to sit near the fire.

Он устал и холодно и хотел сидеть возле огня.

But there were too many people near the fire.

Но рядом с огнем было слишком много людей.

Then the man asked a boy to give some meat to his horse. All the people ran into the yard to look at the horse who could eat meat.

Затем мужчина попросил мальчика дать немного мяса своей лошади. Все люди побежали во двор, чтобы посмотреть на лошадь, которая могла есть мясо.

The man sat down near the fire.

Мужчина сел возле огня.

He was happy. The people came back and said, 'But your horse does not want to eat the meat.' 'All right,' said the man.

Он был счастлив. Люди вернулись и сказали: «Но ваша лошадь не хочет есть мясо». «Хорошо», - сказал мужчина.
