Many people remember or have seen Soviet waffle irons at their grandmothers. Heavy cast iron molds in which waffles were cooked over a fire. The recipe for making waffles was the same for almost everyone; it was sold complete with a waffle iron or was engraved on its bottom. But lovers of something new and unusual always want to add and change something. In this recipe, we suggest adding cottage cheese to the dough and getting it a la cheesecakes, but only in waffles and without frying in oil.
