In Greece, the classic Greek salad is called rustic and, as a rule, they do not cut feta cheese or feta cheese, but press a block of cheese onto the dish with vegetables. They tell the story of a Greek emigrant who once came to his nephew’s wedding in his native village. Due to toothache, he could not eat fresh vegetables, so he chopped them and mixed them. All relatives liked the dish and gradually spread throughout the country, and then around the world.
